# AgainstPest Editorial Team


The editorial team builds and reviews every page on AgainstPest against the sourcing hierarchy set out in our [editorial policy](/editorial-policy/).

We build identification and biology content on university extension and land-grant entomology sources, because those are written by entomologists with no product to sell and are regionally specific in a way commercial content is not. We source regulatory claims to the EPA and to state agencies directly, and health claims to the EPA, CDC, and NPIC.

We publish the [label rule](/regulations/fifra-and-labels/) openly because it constrains what we will and will not tell you, and stating it publicly is both a trust signal and a form of self-enforcement.
