AgainstPest publishes general information about pest identification, prevention, treatment approaches, cost, and regulation in the United States. It is **not legal, medical, or veterinary advice, and it is not a pesticide recommendation.**

We do not perform pest control, dispatch technicians, or sell leads. Nothing on this site creates a professional relationship of any kind.

## The label governs

Where any page discusses a pesticide product class, the approved label of the specific product you have governs its use, and it supersedes anything on this site. We publish no application rates for this reason. See [why the label is the law](/regulations/fifra-and-labels/).

## Jurisdictional variation

Pesticide regulation, applicator licensing, and tenant protections are set by state and sometimes by county, and change over time. Verify anything jurisdiction-dependent against your state's own source before acting on it.

## No warranty
