The editorial team builds and reviews every page on AgainstPest against the sourcing hierarchy set out in our editorial policy.

We build identification and biology content on university extension and land-grant entomology sources, because those are written by entomologists with no product to sell and are regionally specific in a way commercial content is not. We source regulatory claims to the EPA and to state agencies directly, and health claims to the EPA, CDC, and NPIC.

We publish the label rule openly because it constrains what we will and will not tell you, and stating it publicly is both a trust signal and a form of self-enforcement.
