Conducive conditions

Findings in an inspection report that make a structure attractive or accessible to wood-destroying insects — wood-to-soil contact, moisture, poor drainage, debris.

A conducive-conditions finding is not a finding of infestation, and confusing the two is a common and expensive misreading of a WDI report. It is a list of things to correct, and correcting them is genuinely the durable part.
